Ireteba Peaks Wilderness Area is a 32,533-acre federally protected wilderness in Nevada managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This remote backcountry offers visitors a chance to experience primitive desert landscape on foot, with hiking and backpacking as the primary ways to explore. The wilderness is subject to all federal wilderness rules: no roads, motors, or mechanized travel of any kind are permitted, and all visitors must follow Leave No Trace principles to protect the landscape.
