Hurricane Creek Wilderness

Hurricane Creek Wilderness is a 15,333-acre federally protected wilderness area in Arkansas, managed by the Forest Service. It preserves a primitive backcountry landscape where hiking and backpacking are the primary pursuits. The area is closed to all motorized and mechanized travel—no roads, vehicles, or mountain bikes are permitted. This designation ensures solitude and a genuine wilderness experience for those willing to travel on foot.
