Hummingbird Springs Wilderness Area encompasses over 31,000 acres of federally protected backcountry in Arizona, managed by the Bureau of Land Management as a true wilderness designation. This means no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel are permitted—only foot and stock travel through primitive terrain. The area offers hikers and backpackers a genuine solitude experience in undeveloped country, where Leave No Trace ethics are essential to preserve the landscape.

Access is via foot traffic only, and visitors should prepare for remote backcountry conditions. Water sources, trail maintenance, and developed facilities are minimal or absent.
