Goose Creek Wilderness Area

Goose Creek Wilderness Area is a 93-acre federally designated Wilderness in Utah managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This primitive backcountry offers hikers and backpackers a chance to experience undeveloped landscape on foot, away from roads and mechanized travel. The wilderness is subject to strict regulations: no motorized vehicles, no mountain bikes or other mechanized equipment, and the expectation that all visitors follow Leave No Trace principles to preserve the area's wild character.

Access requires a non-motorized approach, and visitors should be prepared for genuine backcountry conditions with minimal infrastructure. The small acreage means this is a place for solitude and self-reliance rather than developed trail systems or services. Spring through fall offers the most reliable visiting window, though conditions vary by year and elevation.
