Dominguez Canyon Wilderness Area spans 66,128 acres of federally protected backcountry in Colorado, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This is primitive, non-motorized terrain where you'll encounter canyon country, remote ridges, and river corridors—a landscape defined by solitude and distance from developed infrastructure.

The wilderness welcomes hikers and backpackers seeking genuine backcountry experience. Trails are unmanicured and navigation demands competence; water sources and seasonal conditions vary.
