Daniel J. Evans Wilderness Area spans 867,060 acres of federally protected backcountry in Washington, managed by the National Park Service. This is primitive, non-motorized terrain where no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. The wilderness operates under strict Leave No Trace principles.
