Bogoslof Wilderness Area

Bogoslof Wilderness Area is a 72-acre federally protected wilderness in Alaska managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This remote backcountry preserve is open only to non-motorized, primitive recreation—no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. Visitors must travel on foot and practice Leave No Trace principles throughout their stay.

The wilderness offers hiking and backpacking in a wild, undeveloped landscape.
