Gander Mountain

Gander Mountain was a ski area located in Antioch, Illinois. The facility is now abandoned and no longer operates. The site remains in the landscape near the coordinates 42.493, -88.188, but there are no active skiing or snowboarding operations. Visitors interested in the history of skiing in Illinois or the remnants of the former resort will find only an inactive location; the infrastructure and services that once supported winter sports here are no longer in place.
